Empower MedSpa offers full body comfort waxing! Our estheticians are experts in the removal of unwanted hair. Specially chosen wax formulas work effectively yet gently. After waxing is completed special products have been chosen to leave your skin feeling silky smooth.
Waxing is offered in our St. Albans office only.

Helpful tips before scheduling your wax:

No shaving or tweezing for at least two weeks prior to your wax.

Your hair must be at least 1/4th of an inch long to be successfully removed with wax.

You can expect to be hair-free for a minimum of 1-2 weeks following your appointment.

If you are sensitive, taking an ibuprofen or aspirin about 30 minutes before your appointment is helpful.

We recommend you exfoliate the area you would like waxed several days prior to your appointment.

We recommend that you avoid sun exposure for 48 hours prior to and after your wax.

Empower Lash Lift
The Empower MedSpa lash lift is a fantastic option for anyone who is interested in luscious, beautiful, curled lashes with low-maintenance and minimal commitment. A lash lift is the permanent restructure of the hair shape, giving you lifted lashes for the duration of the lash cycle, 6-8 weeks. Empower MedSpa uses Elleebana products for lash lifts.
Lash Tint
Save on time with lash tint! Give your lashes weeks of dark, full volume without the assistance of mascara. Tinting will not add curl, length, or volume to your lashes, but it will darken and intensify their color for up to 6 weeks!

Empower Lash Lift with Tint
The Empower lash lift with tint is a great option for anyone who currently wears mascara! The lash lift with tint is the perfect look for dark, luscious, and beautifully curled lashes with low-maintenance and minimal commitment. This service will also provide a permanent restructure of the hair shape, giving you lifted lashes for the duration of the lash cycle, 6-8 weeks. A Lash lift with tint requires no aftercare after the first 24 hours.

Please shower prior to your appointment because you must avoid water or steam on the treated lashes for 24 hours.

Please avoid using any growth serum on the lashes 48 hours prior to your Lash Lift Service.

If you have eyelash extensions, they need to be removed at least 3 days to 1 week prior to your appointment.

No eye makeup should be worn the day of your appointment. (i.e.: mascara, eyeshadow, or eyeliner).

You must remove contact lenses before the procedure.

Avoid Moisture, excess steam, and water for the first 24hours post Lash Lift. For the first 24 hours after the treatment, your lashes are still quite delicate and malleable. Ensuring that you are not exposing your lashes to excess steam or moisture will prevent the lash lift from dropping.

Do not rub or play with your lashes. It can be incredibly tempting to touch, play and admire your beautiful new lashes. However, try not to rub or play with your new lusciously lifted gems. Natural oils from your hands and skin can alter the structure of the lash lift and if you are playing with the lashes, they may fall out prematurely.

Do not use shampoos, conditioners, makeups, creams, eye serums or oils on the lashes or around the eye area for first 24 hours. Using any of these products can encourage the color of the lash tint to weaken or the lash lift to relax.

Avoid using strong eye makeup remover for 48 hours.

Sleeping on your back for the first night is recommended, to avoid lashes dropping on the outer corner. Sleeping face down, or wearing an eye pillow/mask the evening of your eyelash lift is not recommended.
